Part of the waterfront city’s Season, the premier international racing series replaces the colorful feats-of-engineering f1 cats with powerboats.
Organized by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), the championship is the highest form of inshore powerboat racking.

The Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship, or F1H2O, is basically Formula One on water. It’s the ultimate showdown of speed, skill, and spray, where pilots race high-powered boats around tight circuits on lakes, rivers, and bays for about 45 adrenaline-packed minutes. Just like in F1, qualifying sessions set the starting grid, and precise timing decides who takes the glory, and the points, in this fast, furious, and seriously splashy sport.

The championship will follow the same structure at the F1 Grand Prix weekend with free practice and demo sessions starting on Thursday, November 27, qualifiying taking place on Friday, November 28, and the final grand prix running on the third and final day of the weekend, Saturday, November 29. Prepare for a wet weekend.
