Set on the Red Sea, the E1 GP will once again bring electric racing, elite teams and awesome pilots as the championship enters a new season.
The inaugural race of the 2026 season, the Jeddah GP will go speeding down the waterfront city’s bays in January.
The racing weekend is presented by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and backed by Saudi Water Sports & Diving Federation.

The UIM E1 Series is shaking up offshore racing with a fully electric twist. Sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique, the championship brings high-speed powerboat action into a cleaner, future-forward era. The series made waves with its first-ever race at the E1 Jeddah GP in Saudi Arabia in February 2024, where Team Brady clinched the inaugural title.
Dreamed up in 2020 by former Formula One engineer Rodi Basso and Formula E and Extreme E founder Alejandro Agag, the concept paired cutting-edge racing with sustainability from day one. After unveiling the futuristic race boat in 2021, designed by electric boat specialist Sophi Horne, the series cemented its ambition with a major partnership with Saudi Arabia’s PIF, officially launching a new chapter for electric motorsport on the water.

The weekend will go racing from Friday, January 23 to Saturday, January 24. Day one will bring free practices, qualifying, and qualifying shootouts from 9am to 5pm. Day two will see multiple runs of the races from noon before the podium ceremony at 5.45pm.
