The seventh edition of the symposium is being held under the fresh theme of ‘Traces of What Will Be’.
Lulwah Al Homoud, Rut Blees Luxemburg, and Sarah Staton are the visionary curators behind this year’s art event which has welcomed 25 artists from 18 countries.
So, get ready to be mesmerised as these artists bring their vision to life in-real time. the completed pieces will be added to Riyadh Art’s permanent collection.

Every year, Tuwaiq Sculpture turns Riyadh into an open-air studio, where artists from around the world carve massive works right before your eyes.
It’s not just about chisels and stone, it’s about cultural exchange, bold creativity, and turning raw materials into striking public art. The result? Monumental sculptures that shape the city’s skyline while giving everyone a front-row seat to the magic of the creative process.
Once complete, the sculptures find homes across Riyadh, fueling the city’s public art movement and bringing Riyadh Art’s vision of creativity and inclusivity to life.

The exhibition has taken over the ever-lively Tahlia street. The street was the site of Riyadh’s first desalination plant.

What to expect at the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium 2026

The 7th edition has kicked-off with live sculpting and will wrap up with an exhibition in February. For the first time, artists will experiment with granite and stainless steel alongside recycled materials, pushing boundaries while reinforcing Tuwaiq Sculpture’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and bold public art.
