Now, adidas Originals has unveiled The Loomhood collection and trust us when we say, these sneakers were made for walking.
The collection re-imagines not one, but two iconic designs while sprinkling in some craftsmanship, creativity, and community spirit from the region. That’s right, the collection has been inspired by three major nations— Egypt. UAE, and of course Saudi Arabia.

adidas Originals’ The Loomhood Collection 2025
adidas Originals is stepping into culture with The Loomhood Collection—a fresh, limited-edition drop that fuses iconic sneaker style with rich regional craftsmanship.
Launching this April in Dubai, Riyadh, and Cairo, the collection reworks the beloved Samba OG and Handball Spezial, featuring custom laces inspired by traditional crafts like UAE’s elegant Talli, Saudi’s bold Sadu, and Egypt’s vibrant Khayamiya.
With local artisans like Rashidah and Mohsen Shaaban lending their magic—and cultural expert Dr. Reem El Mutwalli keeping it all authentic—these kicks are more than sneakers; they’re wearable stories.
The Loomhood Collection location
The collection will launched in the iconic Dubai Mall in the UAE and Maison 69 in Cairo. In Riyadh, you will be able to pick up the limited edition kicks at the sprawling Riyadh Park Mall.
The Loomhood Collection release date
The collection will be released in phases with Dubai kicking things off from Saturday, April 19 with a a two-day pop-up experience at Dream Girls Tailor in Dubai’s historic Al Fahidi district. Following the pop-up, the sneakers will be available at Dubai Mall and Riyadh Park Mall from Monday, April 21 to Wednesday, April 30.
Shoppers in Cairo will be able to grab a pair from Thursday, April 24.

There will be in-store activations along with complementary sneaker customization and exclusive laces with each purchase.
With exact coordinates of the artisans engraved on every pair, The Loomhood Collection stitches together past and present, weaving artistry into streetwear while spotlighting local makers and their timeless skills.
Riyadh and fashion
This is not adidas’ first collaboration with the Kingdom. The sportwear brand and the official clothing partner of Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team partnered with Kaf by Kaf and debuted a chic and sporty collection ahead of the Riyadh Fashion Week. Each year, Riyadh Season hosts the Ana Arabia event where local boutiques show-off their vision. Last year, the Season also welcomed visionary Lebanese designer Elie Saab for a special night of glitz and glam.
