Slap on your smart watches because you are about to take ‘new year, new me’ to a whole ‘nother level at Sports Boulevard The Groves.
The 135-kilometer attraction has affectionately been dubbed as the Central Park of Saudi and is going to be home to over 50 sports facilities upon completion.
The first phase of the west to east project opened to the public back in February 2025 and now, the next phase has been inaugurated.
Announced via a LinkedIn post by Ahmad Binaskar, Chief of Communications of the Sports Boulevard Foundation, the new section has taken over Hittin.
What’s more, a five-day celebration has been planned of which you can still experience four.

Riyadh Sports Boulevard is set to be the ultimate playground for everyone, from cyclists and walkers to horseback riders, nature lovers, and art fans. This vibrant, mostly open-air destination combines sports, culture, and sustainability, encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle. Boasting over 50 sports facilities, the world’s tallest Sports Tower, more than 3 million square meters of investment areas, and 4 million square meters of green space, the Boulevard stretches across iconic landmarks, with Wadi Hanifah already welcoming visitors in western Riyadh.
