After announcing footie legend Cristiano Ronaldo as the global ambassador of the ongoing Esports World Cup, the Ministry of Culture had announced the much-awaited return of the Saudi theatrical show Terhal.
Now back in Diriyah, the exciting announcement was made via MOC’s official social media channels.
First launched in 2023, the highly-acclaimed show gained widespread praise for celebrating Saudi culture through authentic handicrafts, cuisine, and of course attire.

Terhal follows the journey of a young Saudi man as he studies in Riyadh and dreams of shaping his country’s future in the digital age. In order to do this, he sets out on a journey across Saudi which brings him closer to his culture and allows him to reconnect with his heritage.

The show was launched on Monday, August 4 and will run until Monday, August 25.
From Monday to Thursday, the doors will open at 7pm and the show will start from 8.30pm. On Friday and Saturday, the first show’s doors will open at 7pm and the show will start at 8.30pm while the second show’s doors will open at 10.30pm and the show will start at 11pm.
Terhal’s cast and crew will take a much needed break on Sundays and not perform.
