Tired of having to fly everywhere? Well, good news!

Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has issued a brand-new tender for the Saudi northern rail network expansion.

The tender supports efforts to develop the Kingdom’s transport system and enhance passenger rail services.

It also aligns with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

SAR’s newest project is a massive 10-passenger-train expansion. It covers design, manufacturing, supply, and fleet maintenance services to ensure long-term operational sustainability.

The new trains will boost the northern network’s capacity nearly threefold, offering over 2.4 million seats annually and making it easier than ever to travel between cities as passenger demand continues to grow.
