The 95th Saudi National Day is right around the corner and the Kingdom has come alive with pride. 

Buzzing with excitement, businesses and hotels have started announcing Saudi National Day sales across Saudi while people from different regions are ironing out their traditional clothes and accessories. 

Add to the excitement, endorphins. That’s right, the Red Sea city of Jeddah is celebrating the national day with some sweat equity. 

The waterfront city is organizing the Saudi National Day 95 run. 

Taking over historic Jeddah in less than a week, the run has been organized by MASAFAT Club, Saudi Arabia’s leading running community. 

The running event will welcome people from all runs of life and is in line with the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030.

Saudi National Day 95 run dates and time 

You  will be legging it on Friday, September 19 from 6am to 9am, freeing you up for the Friday prayer just in time. 

Saudi National Day 95 run distances and registration 

You can choose between two distances for this year’s Saudi National Day run. 

  • 5 kilometers: 13 years and older: Free 
  • 5 kilometers: 13 years and older: SAR20. You will  get a timing chip, bib number, and a finisher e-certificate.
  • 2 kilometers family and kids race: SAR20. You will  get a timing chip, bib number, and a finisher e-certificate.

What to expect at the Saudi National Day 95 run

You will collect your bibs on Thursday, September 18, in Historic Jeddah, before going off to explore the fan village complete with sponsor booths, food trucks, and community corners.

 On race morning, expect lively guidance, water stations at every turn, volunteers cheering you on, and the inspiring beats of a live DJ fueling your stride. With distances of two kilometers and five kilometers, the event welcomes everyone, whether new to running or an experienced runner. 

Family, friends, and spectators will find plenty to enjoy: folklore performances, festival zones, photography and coloring corners, and delicious snacks await at the finish line. Every participant will take home a medal, and memories to last a lifetime.

In addition to the race there is also the annual music festival, AZIMUTH which will light up AlUla with bopping beats and strobe lights for the Saudi National Day weekend.
