The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) has green lighted their 95th Saudi National Day celebration with over 40 cultural events for all ages.
The festivities will run until Saturday, to honor Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage, colorful traditions and strong identity.
Like in other parts of Saudi Arabia, the Eastern Region takes part in the Saudi National Day tribute with Ithra as one of the main spots for a unique cultural experience.
An Aramco initiative designed to highlight the national spirit of unity, the six-day program is featuring cultural diversity through activities, exhibitions, performances and musical shows.

Ithra, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Dhahran, is one of Saudi Arabia’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Built by Saudi Aramco on the very site where the Kingdom’s first oilfield was discovered in 1938, it was inaugurated in 2016 and quickly became a must-visit destination. Designed by the Norwegian firm Snøhetta, the center is home to a museum, library, cinema, theater, and exhibition halls. Get ready for a packed lineup of experiences. You can explore the Saudi Emblem Archive, dive into the world of coffee in the “From Bean to Cup” exhibition, or even join a sing-along where the whole crowd becomes the choir. There’s the futuristic “Saudi Time Capsule” where you leave messages for your future self in 2030, plus live music on the Plaza blending oud melodies with semsemiah rhythms. Families won’t be left out either, with the Children’s Museum and hands-on workshops like crafting lavender, creating stamps, or even a RoboCamel adventure. It’s a mix of heritage, creativity, and fun that makes Ithra the place to be this National Day.
