The recently inaugurated eighth edition saw massive announcements from the Saudi Health Minister, Fahad Al-Jalajel.
The initiatives included an AI Physician experience for accurate disease diagnosis among others.
The Saudi health drive has been in high gear with the support of the Kingdom’s leadership and following the successful launch of the world’s first AI clinic, it really is no surprise that more health initiatives have incorporated AI.
New Saudi health initiatives Global Health Exhibition 2025
The Global Health Exhibition is where innovation meets investment to shape the future of healthcare. It brings together leaders from across the public and private sectors to spark conversations, share ideas, and take real action toward reimagining how the world delivers care.
From tackling health equity and longevity to scaling digital health and weaving wellness into everyday medicine, the exhibition highlights the biggest shifts shaping global health systems. With breakthrough tech, cross-sector collaborations, and a dynamic conference program, it’s all about turning big ideas into real impact, worldwide.
The Global Health Exhibition, under the theme invest in health, is being hosted at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center until Thursday, October 30.
In addition to the Saudi health initiatives, the exhibition promises to see the signing of agreements upwards of SR124 billion.
New Saudi health initiatives 2025
Part of the Vision 2030 drive, Saudi Arabia has been putting a greater emphasis on improving the quality of life with multiple programmes including new initiatives. The main two revealed at the Global Health Exhibition are,
- Localization of vaccine manufacturing in partnership with leading global companies. Saudi Pharmaceutical Investment Company (Lifera) plans to localize production of several vaccines with international partners.
- Introduction of the smart health coach, developed with Google, soon available on the Sehhaty app.
