Graduates explaining their work

The exhibition showcased the students’ works across three creative tracks, all centered around the concept of sustainability and its various applications in design fields. The students competed in three main categories. The first focused on innovative smart solutions for sustainable packaging, while the second explored dynamic visual design expressing the importance of sustainability in the environment, inspired by King Salman’s Urban Charter. The third track revolved around designing an interactive digital magazine discussing environmental sustainability, aiming to raise reader awareness and facilitate navigation between related websites. The exhibition was creatively executed by artist Ibrahim Romman, who utilized various lighting and display screens to present the works with high professionalism.

Professor Rajaa Moumena, founder and head of the institute, stated that the competition criteria were set by a specialized judging panel in advertising and marketing, with the participation of artists interested in sustainability. She noted that the award sponsors would adopt the winners’ works. “Powder Beauty” offered a three-month paid job opportunity for the first track, attended by the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mrs. Mariam Musalli, while winners in the second and third tracks received cash prizes of 3,000 Saudi Riyals each.
