Multiple Riyadh Season 2025 zones closed due to the weather today, Thursday, December 18.
The announcements have been rolling in since the snowfall alert and in-person classes suspension for schools and universities in Riyadh.
Beast Land, Riyadh Zoo, and more Riyadh Season open-air attractions were revealed to be closed for the day via the official Riyadh Season Instagram.
Riyadh Season 2025 zones close due to rain
Following the thunderstorm warnings from the General Directorate of Civil Defense and the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), Riyadh Season announced the closure of high foot-traffic open-air attractions to promote public health and safety.
So far, the following zones have been shuttered.
Beast Land
One of the most anticipated Riyadh Season attractions to open this year, Beast Land is a one-of-a-kind adventure zone where every corner feels like you’ve jumped into a real-life MrBeast video. Racing through themed zones, tackling epic challenges, and racking up points is what the land is all about, but all of that has to be paused for the day due to the rain.

Riyadh Zoo
With more than 1,300 animals representing 190 species, the Riyadh Zoo is one of three free Riyadh Season zones every year. The 55-acre area allows you to engage with tigers, bears, lions, monkeys, and more, but not on Monday, December 15 due to the severe weather warnings.

Suwaidi Park
The 140,000 square meters Suwaidi Park was re-introduced to the masses as a Riyadh Season zone in 2022 and has since made a regular appearance at the largest winter festival in the Kingdom. The park is currently celebrating Sudan, the 13th and final culture set to be a part of the global harmony festivities.
