The Saudi music scene is thriving.
Kingdom hosts awesome weekend-long festivals like Saudi National Day‘s AZIMUTH in AlUla, Balad Beast in Jeddah, and of course, the loudest weekend in Saudi, Soundstorm in Riyadh, all powered by MDLBEAST.
Now, the Kingdom is gearing up to host Riyadh Intervision 2026, the second-ever edition of a global singing competition.
The inaugural event was held in Russia earlier this month where Saudi participated as a guest of honor.
While the official location and dates of the dramatic competition have not been revealed. Here is what we do know.

Say hello to Intervision, the newest player shaking up the live music competition scene. Launched this September, it’s not your average contest. Instead, it’s a global stage where music meets cultural identity, bringing together talent and audiences from every corner of the world.
Riyadh Intervision 2026 debut edition
The debut edition in Moscow was nothing short of dramatic, over 20 countries showed up including Saudi Arabia, China Vietnam, and more. Just minutes into the show and the spotlight quickly shifted to Vietnam’s Duc Phuc, who wowed the crowd with a pop-rap-electronic mix that clinched him the grand prize of about SAR1.3 million.
What makes Intervision stand out is its global flavor, from Cuban beats to African colors, and Arab melodies so elegant, it brought tears to your eyes, all shared the same stage. Every act brought a little bit of its history and a whole lot of its culture. was, turning the contest into more of a musical world tour and not just a battle for the top prize.
