After an uber successful campaign to host the coveted Expo 2030, Riyadh Expo 2030 masterplan has been revealed.
Unveiled through the official social media handles of the event, the masterplan renders look as phenomenal as you would expect from Saudi.
Running from October 2030 to March 2031, the 2030 expo was contested for Korea (Busan), Italy (Rome), and of course Saudi Arabia.
Not only did Saudi beat out all the countries. it also made history by becoming the only contesting nation to complete and submit a Registration Dossier in time for the Bureau International Des Expositions (BIE) General Assembly in Paris.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman announced the intention to host the expo in 2021under the theme of “Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow”.

Riyadh Expo 2030 is all about shaping the future, its theme, “Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow,” puts the spotlight on bold ideas, global teamwork, and tackling big challenges like climate change and inequality head-on. It’s a nod to the Kingdom’s drive for innovation, sustainability, and tech-powered progress.
The theme breaks down into three exciting sub-themes: “A Different Tomorrow” dives into futuristic tech and smart cities, “Climate Action” champions green solutions and nature protection, and “Prosperity for All” aims to level the playing field worldwide. The renders of Riyadh Expo 2030 masterplan have shown that the site will be located near King Salman International Airport, with over 226 exhibition pavilions and the giga-events, aiming to attract 40 million visitors.
