Riyadh-Air-Song-4

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. If you listen closely you can hear our jingle.

Riyadh Air has generated some intense buzz since it was first announced in March 2023 by His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman, crown prince and prime minister of the Kingdom. The airline has taxi’d on to the runway and is preparing for its first flight later this year.

The purple and white airplanes have our excitement soaring and have now launched their own sonic brand, with the new Riyadh Air song.

The official song’s announcement comes at the heels of the new national carrier’s ground-breaking deal with LIV Golf, becoming the first official partner of the first-ever global golf league.

The Riyadh Air song will be weaved through your entire traveler experience as the airline aims to create a “sensory journey that inspires awe and connection.”

The song was composed at the iconic Abbey Studios, you may know them from the cover of The Beatles album Abbey Road.

The Riyadh Air song required thirteen talented musicians from the Saudi National Orchestra, playing traditional instruments like the oud, qanun, and more.

The ensemble featured the first-ever female violinist as well.

On September 12, 2024, Riyadh Air stated that it would be conducting its first test flights from Riyadh to Jeddah as part of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) process that the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) had requested.

Riyadh will serve as the airline’s operational hub. The airline will focus on routes that better connect the Saudi capital to three distinct continents—Asia, Africa, and Europe—when flights begin operating in 2025. The airline plans to serve more than 100 international locations by 2030.

In addition to having all the newest safety features and technology, Riyadh Air will also follow the most recent sustainability goals. Onboard, you can also experience the warm Saudi hospitality.

In addition to the Riyadh Air song, travelers will soon get the first glimpse of the seats, airport and inflight products set to be revealed in the coming days.
