Qiddiya City has been making waves for a while now, and it’s no wonder—this place is set to become the go-to playground for fun in Saudi! If you’ve caught some buzz but aren’t totally in the loop, don’t worry—we’ve rounded up all the must-know details about this epic entertainment city. Buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride.

The ciity is where the “Power of Play” comes to life—built for the fun-seekers and thrill-lovers who asked for more excitement in the Kingdom. Born from a bold $40 billion vision by King Salman, this mega project is all about balancing life with a whole lot of fun. Part of Saudi Vision 2030, it’s bringing 25 brand-new neighborhoods, 27 jaw-dropping attractions, over 10 theme parks, a stadium, racetrack, gyms, medical centers—you name it. And the best part? The whole city’s walkable. Yep, fun and convenience, all rolled into one epic destination.

It is setting up shop just southwest of Riyadh, stretching across a massive 376 square kilometers of pure potential. It’s being brought to life by the QIC, which kicked things off back in 2018. Safe to say—they’ve been cooking up something big for a while now.

Six Flags

Six Flags, the largest entertainment resort operator in North America, has assumed the role of master operator of Six Flags Qiddiya City, bringing its management expertise in the entertainment world to support the park. Expect an ideal destination for thrill-seekers at Six Flags, with 28 rides and attractions, including the Falcon’s Flight, the world’s fastest and tallest roller coaster.

The theme park is a world of fun for all ages. Imagine yourself in a world of horror and fear with the crazy games in City of Thrills, or a magical place with games for young and old in Twilight Gardens. All of this is a small part of the fun that awaits you with the opening of the park at the end of 2025.

Aquarabia

And your fun doesn’t end there, as Aquarabia is located next to Six Flags, which is scheduled to open in late 2025. Expect an aquatic entertainment world with 22 water rides, including the world’s tallest roller coaster and the world’s tallest water slide. The park includes eight areas for visitors, the most exciting of which is Surftopia, which includes the first surfing pool in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Imagine the amount of fun that awaits you, whether for families or friends.

Dragon Ball Theme Park

Imagine the amount of fun that exists within this city, where you can immerse yourself in the world of anime and take a real historical journey in the Dragon Ball series. Live the real fun by exploring Dragon Ball landmarks such as Kami House Island, Capsule Corporation, and Planet Beerus. seven areas reflecting seven Dragon Balls, discover them all in the park located in the city and interact with the characters face to face.

Dragon Ball City offers more than 30 rides that will immerse you in an atmosphere of wonder and fantasy, including the Shenron roller coaster, which is 70 meters high. Imagine yourself riding it and spinning around the famous dragon. the theme park and Dragon Ball City promise you an unprecedented entertainment tour.

Sitting dramatically atop a 200-metre cliff, the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Stadium is gearing up to be a game-changer—literally.
