The Academy Award winner has been making waves and over time has built a respectable career.
So, it really is no surprise that he is the first honoree at this year’s Red Sea International Film Festival.
Michael Caine at RSIFF 2025 was confirmed via the official Instagram account of the festival, but he was not the only one.

After eight decades in the spotlight, he retired in 2023, leaving behind a legacy that firmly cements him as a British cultural icon. His impact on film continues to inspire both fans and filmmakers around the world.

Along with Sir Michael Caine at RSIFF 2025, three-time Academy Award nominated and BAFTA and Golden Globe winning actress Sigourney Weaver, Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche, French-Algerian filmmaker Rachid Bouchareb, and renowned Hong Kong film director, screenwriter, producer, and action choreographer Stanley Tong will also be honored at the festival.

The film festival is less than two days away and our excitement is soaring. In addition to Michael Caine at RSIFF 2025, you can look forward to RSIFF 2025 in-conversation stars Adrien Brody, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and more. You will also be able to catch a glimpse of Saudi football legend, Mohammed Noor as he attends the screening of his biopic, Noor. Bollywood superstar Rekha will also be present at the festival for the international premiere of her recently restored hit film Umrao Jaan. The Voice of Hind Rajab will receive its first-ever Saudi premiere at the festival as well.
