Move over Riyadh and Jeddah, the coastal city of Khobar is bringing that island living to Saudi Seasons.
That’s right, the first-ever Khobar Season has been inaugurated.
Announced by the acting CEO of the Sharqia Development Authority, Talal Almaghlouth in a closed door press conference on Monday, October 20, the newest Season is part of the Saudi Winter 2025 program.
First reported by SPA, the three-month Season aims to strengthen Eastern Region’s position as a premier national destination for culture, tourism, and entertainment, reflecting its vibrancy and cultural and social diversity.
The freshest city-wide-celebrations in Saudi were inaugurated on Thursday, October 23 with giant inflatables from Big Bounce Arabia taking over the iconic Corniche.

Khobar Season 2025
Get ready to explore over 140 activities in the coastal city as live concerts, exhibitions, dining, and other events grace Khobar.
The season is set to give Al-Khobar’s economy a major lift, filling hotels, energizing restaurants and shops, and putting the Eastern Region firmly on the map as a top destination for culture, tourism, and entertainment. It’s a celebration of the area’s rich diversity and lively spirit, drawing visitors from near and far.
With projected spending topping SAR 85 million, the season isn’t just about fun, it’s fueling opportunity. Over 7,200 direct and indirect jobs are expected to be created, opening doors for local talent and empowering youth to play a key role in shaping the region’s vibrant events and tourism scene.

Al Souq
This month-long pop-up at Ajdan Walk is turning into a lively Saudi souq with a modern twist. Think colorful stalls filled with local crafts, fashion, perfumes, abayas, and unique treasures from across the region. It’s more than shopping, it’s a cultural experience that blends tradition with today’s style, capturing the heart and creativity of the Saudi home in the most vibrant way.

The Big Bounce Arabia
Big Bounce Arabia is back in Al Khobar, and it’s bigger than ever. Picture giant inflatables, seaside sunsets, and weekends packed with fun for the whole family. It’s the ultimate spot to laugh, jump, and soak up good vibes by the beach, don’t miss it.

Ithra Winter Festival
Ithra is kicking off a cultural winter in Dhahran with an exciting new season. From Wednesday, October 29 to Saturday January 31, the landmark will come alive with performances, exhibitions, and experiences for all ages. The four-day opening will light up Ithra’s gardens with art and music, setting the tone for a citywide celebration of creativity.

Head to the coast for the Khobar Breeze Festival this Khobar Season, where beach vibes, culture, and family fun all come together!
