Luxury hoteliers Hilton have launched a whopping 14 properties in the Kingdom in an effort to reach its 100 hotels in Saudi milestone.
The brand currently operates in luxury, lifestyle, full service, and midscale hotels, but has now signed a partnership to launch Hilton Spark Saudi.
That’s right, the premium economy option from the hotelier is set to make its MENA debut with a stunningly stylish property in the holy city of Makkah.

Hilton Spark Saudi 2025
Hilton announced it will reach a major milestone of 100 hotels operating or in development in Saudi Arabia this year, highlighting its strong commitment to long-term growth in the Kingdom. The company now has 14 brands present or planned in the market and aims to add over 21,000 new rooms across various locations Kingdom-wide.
One of these properties is the Hilton Spark hotel. Launched in 2023, the hotel is a fast-growing, innovative premium economy brand. It features simple, stylish design, comfortable rooms, and free breakfast—providing reliable essentials and friendly service at an affordable price.

The new property will be erected in the heart of the holy city of Makkah just east of Masjid Al-Haram in Aziziyah’s district, near the religiously significant area of Mina, a key site during Hajj with direct train access to Arafat,

No definitive opening dates for the property have been announced yet but we do know that the hotel is set to open later this year.

Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah is set to be a 329-guest room property that will offer twin-bed and triple-bed guest rooms.
More openings in Riyadh
The Kingdom is preparing to welcome some fantastic properties in the coming years including (but not limited to) AAMALA Nammos, the first-ever Nammos outside of Greece.
