That’s right, the entity has announced the debut Riyadh Marathon Festival.
The inaugural event will feature almost a full week of fun, fitness, and celebration before the fifth Riyah Marathon begins.

First-ever Riyadh Marathon Festival announced 2026
The Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) jointly organize the annual Riyadh Marathon. Regardless of athletic ability, anyone can participate in the marathon. The event is open to little ones too but they must be accompanied by an adult buddy.
The event proudly maintains its World Athletics Elite Road Race status, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting health, fitness, and community well-being for everyone.

The festival will take over the world’s largest women’s university, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The exact hall will be revealed closer to the event’s start day.

According to the Saudi Sports for All Federation, the celebrations will begin from Wednesday, January 28 and end on Saturday, January 31. The conclusion of the festival will be followed by the marathon’s kick-off.
