Pedal to the metal, the city of play is almost here.
Located about 40 minutes away from the Saudi capital, Qiddiya is where you go to work hard and play harder.
While the official opening is still coming, many exhilarating attractions and events have been announced.
Add to that, the first-ever FIA Extreme H World Cup Qiddiya City.
Set to be the successor to Extreme E, the environmentally-friendly off-roading race series on the calendar, Extreme H will be powered by hydrogen.
The October race will drift into the Saudi city of play and is set to be the first official event to be held in the city of sports and entertainment.
FIA Extreme H World Cup Qiddiya City

The FIA Extreme H World Cup is taking racing into the future, swapping fuel for hydrogen power and adrenaline for days. With the all-new Pioneer 25, mixed teams of one female and one male driver will go head-to-head across some of the planet’s wildest terrains, proving that clean energy can be every bit as thrilling as speed and grit.
As Extreme E Saudi takes its final laps during the first week of October, Extreme H will fire up its most likely silent engines for the first time nearly a week later.

What to expect at the FIA Extreme H World Cup Qiddiya City

Just like Extreme E, the Extreme H World Cup will shake things up with mixed teams, pairing one male and one female driver in every car, making it only the second global four-wheel motorsport to do so. The full lineup of teams, drivers, and partners is still under wraps, but all will be revealed in the coming weeks as the countdown to October kicks into gear.
Saudi and racing

Saudi racing fans need to clear their throats and brush up on those cheers and chants because the Saudi Arabian Formula One Grand Prix weekend is racing back into the Kingdom in 2026. What’s more, super early bird ticket sales are still going on. There is also the silent Formula E as well as the fourth round of the F1H2o Jeddah GP.
