A Big Win for Saudi Women in Motorsport
Farah AlYousef’s entry into F1 Academy isn’t just exciting, it’s a big step forward for women in motorsport across the Kingdom. Racing on one of the world’s fastest and most exciting street tracks, Farah will be representing Saudi talent and dreams on an international stage.
This Wild Card spot is all about spotlighting homegrown drivers, and Farah AlYousef’s journey so far is full of heart, determination, and a whole lot of speed. It’s another proud moment for F1 Academy, which continues to open doors for female racers around the world. As the eighth Wild Card driver in the series so far, Farah’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and possibility.
Just one year ago, Farah began her journey with Formula Woman, stepping up from karting to racing under the guidance of Graeme Glew. Her talent, dedication, and drive have brought her to this incredible moment.
Taking the Baton from Reema Juffali

Farah AlYousef isn’t the first Saudi woman to leave her mark on F1 Academy. In 2024, Reema Juffali made history as the very first Wild Card driver in the series, racing at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. As Saudi Arabia’s first female racing driver, Reema’s appearance was nothing short of groundbreaking and powerful.
Reema took the opportunity to use the moment to encourage more girls to consider motorsport as a real career path, proving that the grid has plenty of room for women with speed and skill. Now, Farah is continuing that story and adding her own twist to it.
