F1 Academy – Start your engines!
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is one of the busiest weekends on the Jeddah calendar.
The streets are flooded with Tfosi, the papaya army, 44 nation, and more chanting for their star driver while chart busters like Usher light up the stage.
Four-time and seven-time world driving champions like Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are preparing to take over the waterside circuit for the fifth time, but with a twist. They will be joined by the likes of Ella Lloyd, Doriane Pin, and more from the F1 Academy.
Set to race about the same weekend, the ladies will bring the speed, neck strength and fierce competition to the high octane affair.
So, strap on your custom helmets. Here is everything to know about the F1 Academy coming to Jeddah.
F1 Academy Jeddah 2025
F1 Academy is a female-only, Formula 4-level single-seater racing championship. It is a spec series, meaning all teams compete with an identical chassis and tyre compounds. Each car is powered by a 174-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.
F1 Academy held its inaugural season in 2023. The 2024 drivers’ championship was won by Rodin Motorsport’s Abbi Pulling whilst Prema Racing retained the team’s championship for 2024.
From 2024 onwards, all Formula One teams pitched in to support one driver each who carried the livery of their team on their car.

The roar of the single-seater F4 cars will take over the Jeddah Corniche track in Ash Shati.

The ladies will zip around the circuit from Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 20, the same weekend as the F1 Grand Prix.
