Eid Al-Adha prayer in Saudi Arabia 2025

Eid al-Adha or “Feast of Sacrifice” is one of the two big celebrations in Islam, landing on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijja, the final month of the Islamic calendar.
It’s a time packed with meaning and tradition, honoring Prophet Abraham’s incredible act of faith when he was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. To mark the occasion, Muslims around the world gather for a special morning prayer, followed by the ritual sacrifice livestock, sharing the meat with family, friends, and those in need.
Pilgrims do their Hajj tawaf (walking around the Holy Ka’aba) and saee (running between Mount Safa and Marwa) during the day as well as do the ritual stoning of the devil.
