One of the most iconic food streets in the world, Burns is what Karachites call the people’s culinary princess.
Burns Road, previously known as Muhammad Bin Qasim Road, is a must-visit spot in Karachi, the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan. The road has been named after the Scottish spy and doctor James Burnes who worked for British India in the 19th century.
Not only the cool history, but the road is also known for the delicious fare being hawked from the restaurants that stand old and proud. Many of the establishments were first opened in 1940.
