Plates of Persia: Riyadh is getting a Berenjak Pop-Up

Prepare to dig in.

Riyadh is quickly becoming the Kingdom’s foodie haven and the go-to spot for some quality fine-dining.

With iconic locations like KAFD gearing up to welcome Chotto Matte right after opening the beloved Japanese restaurant Zuma, it really is no surprise.

Now Via Riyadh is alive with the buzz of welcoming the Berenjak pop-up.

The London-born Persian restaurant will be opening for a very limited time next month and will be bringing the delicious flavors and aromas with it.

The open-air luxury mall is home to award-winning dining spots like celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, Madeo, and more. It recently participated in another pop-up, CUT, the steak restaurant.

So, grab your bibs and get ready to indulge in decadent plates from Persia. Here is everything you need to know about the opening.

Berenjak Pop-Up Riyadh 2025

The restaurant was first opened in 2018 in London and has since then been awarded the coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand. Kian Samyani, the brains behind Berenjak wanted to evoke the feelings and comfort of a home-cooked Persian meal using seasonal British produce. Spices, dips, pickles and handfuls of herbs are the flavors of the restaurant and will have you scraping the plate clean for that final bite of goodness. The flavor profile has been inspired by the kebab houses of Tehran.

The restaurant has permanent locations in Dubai and Sharjah and will be doing a limited edition pop-up in Riyadh.
