The Kingdom’s art scene is evolving with brand-new art exhibition coming to Diriyah.
JAX, the heart of art in the Kingdom is preparing to welcome the new edition of the Art of the Kingdom: Poetic Illuminations to Riyadh.
The first traveling group exhibition of Saudi contemporary artists will showcase the works of multiple Saudi artists from different generations, regions and artistic practices.
The two month-long exhibition will begin from Monday, February 24, 2025.

Art of the Kingdom: Poetic Illuminations 2025
The first edition of the exhibition was held in Brazil where a whopping 26,000 people attended. The second edition will bring the exhibition to Riyadh while the third one will take it to China. Talk about a packed schedule.
With 17 artists who are reinventing our understanding of culture, memory, and identity, this historic exhibition highlights the breadth and complexity of Saudi contemporary art. We encourage you to consider the present and future of artistic expression in the Kingdom through our photography, installations, and video pieces.

The moving exhibition will take over the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art at JAX which is ideal since the space’s tagline is “Where art is created”.

Art and Riyadh
The capital is brimming with artsy events. The Diriyah Arts Future is always doing something fun. There is also the Tuwaiq Art Festival, where you can watch sculptures molded live.
