“I’m a warrior!” That was the chant that echoed loud and proud the Arabian Warrior event, the Middle East’s favorite obstacle course race brand, that made waves in Riyadh.
After an adrenaline-packed debut in Jeddah, Dirab Park became the epicenter of action on Saturday, January 11, with obstacles, sweat, and plenty of fun in store for competitors of all ages and abilities.
With a thrilling mix of sandy terrain and rugged courses, Arabian Warrior’s inaugural Riyadh event didn’t disappoint. From scaling walls to crawling under nets, participants tackled it all—some even took a bone-chilling dunk in the ice-cold pool obstacle! And for the first time in the Kingdom, racers faced the log carry challenge: a grueling 5-kilometer course where teams hauled a hefty wooden log across obstacles.
Starting bright and early at 7am, the day was divided into seven exciting race categories, ensuring everyone had a chance to unleash their inner warrior.
Which Course Was Your Perfect Fit for Arabian Warrior?

- Al Shibel: Little warriors aged 5-12 had a blast on this 1-kilometer kid-friendly course packed with fun challenges.
- Al Muharib: First-timers loved this swift and beginner-friendly 5-kilometer race, which took 30 minutes to 2 hours to complete.
- Al Muharibah: This empowering women-only course celebrated strength, community, and sisterhood for participants aged 13 and above.

But Arabian Warrior isn’t just about conquering obstacles. It’s a celebration of community, culture, and inclusivity. From the sandy landscapes that reflect the Middle East’s heritage to welcoming participants of all ages and abilities, this is more than a sporting event—it’s a movement. With sustainability and an athlete-first mindset at its core, Arabian Warrior is redefining what it means to compete.
