AlUla Tour 2026 is set to peddle back into the Kingdom for a tenth time.
Announced during a press conference in Riyadh on Tuesday, January 6, the returning cycling event will take over the streets of AlUla for three days later this month.
Participating riders will move through five stages of the competition before being awarded medals.
The tournament has been organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation in cooperation with Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the guidance of the Ministry of Sport.
AlUla Tour 2026
The AlUla Tour is one of Saudi Arabia’s standout cycling events, with a history that goes all the way back to 1999. Previously known as the Saudi Tour and the Tour of Saudi Arabia, this professional stage race has popped up at different times over the years before gaining serious momentum in recent seasons. Promoted by the legendary Amaury Sport Organisation, the race stepped onto the international stage in 2020 when it joined the UCI Asia Tour. Today, it holds a respected UCI 2.1 classification, attracting elite teams and riders who race through some of the Kingdom’s most spectacular landscapes.

The tour will be taking you and the other riders all over AlUla, starting from the AlUla Camel Cup Track and ending at Skyviews of Harrat Uwayrid.

Cyclists will be shifting gears from Tuesday, January 27 to Saturday, January 31.
AlUla Tour 2026 stages
Get ready for five action packed days of racing as the AlUla Tour rolls through some seriously stunning scenery.
Stage one
The excitement kicks off on Tuesday, January 27, with a 158 km loop starting and finishing at the AlUla Camel Cup Track.
Stage two
On Wednesday, January 28, riders take on a 152 km stage from AlManshiyah Train Station before returning to the same spot.
Stage three
Thursday, January 29, brings the drama with a 142 km route from Winter Park up to Bir Jaydah Mountain Wirkah,
Stage four
Stage three will be followed by the longest ride on Friday, January 30, covering 184 km from Winter Park to the striking Shalal Sijlyat Rocks.
Stage five
The tour wraps up in style on Saturday, January 31, with a 164 km finale starting in AlUla Old Town and finishing high at the Skyviews of Harrat Uwayrid, serving epic views along with the final sprint.
