The company behind regenerative tourism destinations like the Red Sea and AAMALA, Red Sea Global (RSG) has revealed an adventure and entertainment district.

ADRENA, which is derived from the words “adrenaline,” “arena,” and “dream,” is the ideal combination of enthusiasm, vigor, and creativity.

It is run and overseen by Red Sea Sports & Entertainment Co., which also runs WAMA, a water sports organization; Akun provides on-land adventures; and Galaxea provides underwater experiences. The purpose of ADRENA is to provide visitors with the chance to try new things, participate in action sports in top-notch facilities with a knowledgeable staff, and extend their explorations outside of the park and into the wild.

The shiny new district will sit all pretty in a truly unspoiled and natural environment that will just be a short drive away from Shura Island.

ADRENA Red Sea dates

The destination was soft-launched on Sunday, February 15. It will open to the public properly on Sunday, March 1. The entertainment options this Ramadan are increasing.

By day, the space is all about high-energy fun, and by night, it turns into a laid-back beach club where good vibes take center stage. As the sun sets, unwind to rhythmic house beats from live DJs, sip on specially crafted mocktails, and tuck into bold South American flavors, all served late into the evening with dreamy Red Sea sunset views.

Thrill-seekers, you’re in for a treat. The entertainment district will be home to Saudi’s largest saltwater surf pool at a whopping 215m long, with waves reaching up to 2.1m and tailored to every skill level. Add in a wakeboarding lake, snorkel trails, a jaw-dropping 6m-deep diving pool, a skatepark, a BMX pump track, beach sports zones, an overwater zipline, and a sky-high slip ‘n’ fly slide, and you’ve got a playground built for adrenaline and adventure.

Families and accessibility are front and center too, with kids’ waterplay zones, floating inflatable obstacle courses, zero-depth pool entries, and adaptable water activities for guests of all abilities. Best of all, ADRENA is designed with sustainability in mind, using a smart closed-loop seawater system and water-reuse strategies to keep the fun flowing while caring for the environment.

Outside of the new district, the regenerative tourism destinations are home to some of the most exciting properties in the Kingdom. Desert Rock, which has been built into the side of a mountain, along with Saudi’s first-ever golfing island, Shura Links, are just some of the cool things open in the region. SLS the Red Sea Edition is also open now. Yachting destination AMMALA‘s Triple Bay is set to open in the coming weeks.
