Many of us suffer from procrastination on a daily basis and it’s purely mind over matter to overcome. Unfortunately being distracted can sometimes make you lose focus and motivation with the task at hand.
Here are the 5 ways to minimize procrastination and maximize motivation:
• Become an early bird
A person is best at concentrating in the morning when they are fresh, they should start their day with more challenging tasks than checking social media.
• Procrastination is opportunity’s assassin.
To be the most competitive, efficient and happy in all you do in life, you must have a distraction-free environment atmosphere around you.
• Generate projects at once if you have downtime.
Once you start something and get into the flow of it, you will be surprised how easy it is. Do not think, act. You can always change the project and make changes on the fly. Get that first start which is important.
• Detach all distractions from your surroundings.
Anything that will make you lose focus is another step that will set you up for procrastination and ruining your motivation.
• Eat well, sleep and workout.
There is less chance for a healthy mind to procrastinate. You’ll feel better, you’ll be more upbeat and active, and more optimistic about fulfilling your goals sooner rather than later. If you’re tired, you’ll end up being less productive and more likely to delay your tasks until the next day.
