The highly anticipated Jeddah E-Prix is racing back to Saudi Arabia, with a brand-new location and thrilling action.
After six successful events in Diriyah, the seventh edition is moving to the stunning Red Sea city of Jeddah on Friday, February 14, 2025, and Saturday, February 15, 2025. The all-electric Formula E Championship will take over the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, making Saudi Arabia the third stop of the season.
What Makes Formula E Unique
Unlike traditional Formula 1 races, Formula E is a championship for electric, single-seater race cars, promoting sustainability alongside high-speed action. The cars are powered by electricity, offering a sustainable take on motorsport. The new season will feature the fastest electric cars yet, including the cutting-edge GEN3 EVO, known for its impressive acceleration and high speeds.
The Jeddah E-Prix will be the third stop in the 17-race season, taking place at the iconic Jeddah Corniche Circuit, already known for hosting Formula 1 races. However, the Formula E race will run on a shortened version of this track, tailored for electric vehicles. The track will be slightly modified to meet the specific needs of Formula E. This two-day event promises plenty of action, with more details on the track layout expected soon.
