Every story on the screen leaves a lasting impression on the audience; but what if the cinema room itself told a story? At VOX Cinemas in VIA Riyadh mall, you get exactly that— a themed room!
Our personal favorites were
- Secret Garden: With green grass coating the walls behind you, a pretty swing chair decorated with plush pillows, and a large ottoman patterned with forest leaves, you really do feel like you’ve entered a secret garden.
- Orient Express: Toot, toot! You’ve arrived at the Orient Express; would you like to buy a ticket to your destination? In this cinema, you get an idea of what it was like to ride the Orient Express train. Curtained with blue velvet on both sides, with gold railings and plump couches for you to sink into, the room definitely offers a sense of quiet luxury.
- Tuwaiq: This room has a majlis-like setting, complete with low couches, carpets, and wall carvings traditional of Saudi culture.
- Oasis: Want to go to a retreat? Escape from the desert and enter an oasis, the walls curved and blue. The regular seats you’re used to are completely replaced by banana shaped sofas and round ones alike. On the corner, there’s even a mini ball pit, emulating a hot tub.

Muvi Cinemas, The View
Coming to you with an exciting variety of cinema experiences is Muvi Cinemas. Some of the most innovative rooms that we think you should go to are:
