COYA, the internationally celebrated contemporary Peruvian restaurant, is launching its first pop up in the Kingdom as part of Saudi Seasons’ Jeddah edition offering residents a taste of Peru.
During the five-week pop-up, which will run until July 18, COYA will be taking over the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Jeddah. The restaurant will be pulling out all the stops to showcase its mouth-watering Peruvian cuisine, signature ceviches, bespoke non-alcoholic cocktails and popular in-house DJs.
“We are delighted to be collaborating with MFC in this one-of-a-kind initiative and contributing to the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage’s efforts to enhance domestic tourism in the Kingdom. We will bring our trademark vibrance and energy to Jeddah and share all that our heritage has to offer to residents,” said Stefano Pizzini, general manager, COYA.
During COYA’s five week pop up, guests will be able to indulge in COYA’s a la carte menu and enjoy the best of Peruvian cuisine including signature favourites Atún Chifa ceviche, Arroz Nikkei (famous Chilean seabass cooked in iron pot) and Lomo de Res.
For a complete immersive experience, COYA will be adorning the space with Latin American antiquities and recreate the unique atmosphere that exists in each of its worldwide venues with music from resident DJs. To bring the true essence of COYA to life, the pop up with also exhibit art from Suzi Nassif whose eye-catching works have been exhibited all over the world including Start Art Fair at Saatchi Art Gallery.
Guests will also have the opportunity to take a piece of COYA home by purchasing COYA’s signature fragrance candles.
COYA’s pop up will be running every day during their residency in Saudi from 1pm to 1am and will be open to the public.
