Its a bird, its a plane, its Comic Con Arabia coming back to the Saudi capital.
With great power, comes great responsibility and the Kingdom has understood the proverbial assignment.
With exciting events happening every which way, it really is no surprise that the much-awaited comic-centric happening is coming back.
That is not all though, after four editions in the waterfront city of Jeddah, the all things-nerd event is back to its original Saudi location.
That’s right, folks, Comic Con Arabia is coming back to Riyadh.
The official announcement was made on Thursday, November 21 via the official Instagram account of the event.
So, don on your cowls and perch on rooftops. Here is all the confirmed dets about the fantastic return.
Comic Con Arabia 2024
One of the biggest celebrations of comic book movies, shows, games and more, Comic Con is always packed with explosive announcements and exhilarating trailer-drops. The fan-first event features special talks, panel discussions, live performances, and stalls stacked with memorabilia.
The first Saudi edition of the convention first happened back in 2017 and was held in Riyadh. From 2018 to 2023, the weekend-long double-feature used to take over Jeddah. Last year, it saw the likes of CW’s Arrow star Stephen Amell stop by for talks and interviews.
Comic Con Arabia 2024 was set to take place in Jeddah once again before the official Instagram account deleted all of its announcements and teasers last week. After much speculation and buzz, it was announced today that the event will be moving to Riyadh

Originally the event was meant to be held on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, but following the relocation, no new dates have been released.

Last year, there was a cosplaying competition as well as a fanart competition in addition to talks, workshops, panel discussions and more. You can expect similarly awesome events for the Riyadh edition.
