Children get to have all the fun, but there’s hope for us: adult coloring books!
Art therapy has been proven to be very effective as a way to organize thoughts, build focus and provide a calming effect. Plus it’s super easy since you don’t need to stress about what to draw; you just fill in the drawing. The repetition of sliding the color pens or pencils across the page works as an effective meditation. And the end result is a beautiful piece of art.
Adult coloring has also grown popular because you can multitask and do it without thinking. Personally, I enjoy coloring while watching TV.
You can find a variety of coloring books at Jarir Bookstore:

Time to get started! Get settled in your comfort zone, choose a page to start with and just color. Sometimes I choose one color and work with different shades of it and sometimes I work with a rainbow of colors. It all depends on how I feel. Before I realize it, I’ve finished the entire page, I’m totally relaxed and I’ve got an instant piece of art.
These coloring books allow us to revitalize our childhood memories when we were stress-free and full of creativity and wonder. I hope this trend continues to fill our world with vibrant colors and art!
